The primary objective of the player is to recruit army, command in battlefield, and defeat enemies to become the best commander. During the gameplay, the player can battle against enemies around the star system. In the game, the player needs to select his faction from available and assemble his empire to battle against rival opponents. The game offers two new playable factions such as the Dark Eldar and the Imperial Sisters of Battle.
Like previous titles, DLC pack focuses on Tabletop wargame and introduces a variety of new features to the series of Dawn of War. The game serves as the 3rd Downloadable Content Pack for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.
